Lizzo, the Grammy-winning American singer and rapper known for her empowering music and body positivity advocacy, has found herself at the centre of a controversy. Three of her former backup dancers recently filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against her and her production company, alleging various charges, including sexual, religious, and racial harassment.

The lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court by plaintiffs Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez contains a range of allegations against Lizzo and her production company, Big Grrrl Big Touring, Inc. These allegations include sexual harassment, religious harassment, racial harassment, disability discrimination, assault, and false imprisonment. The dancers accuse Lizzo of creating a hostile work environment.
